Have you ever looked at a 100-year-old tree root from below? Do you know which animals live in a dead oak tree? Have you ever had the chance to admire the Moselle River from above? A special adventure awaits you on the "Lieser Forest Adventure Trail" in Bernkastel-Kues. Here, you'll experience the forest in a whole new way – through smell, touch, feel, sound, and sight. In addition to numerous interactive games for children and adults, you'll also learn about forest ecology and its importance for humans and animals from informative display panels. Starting with a tactile experience, continuing through the fragrance garden, the barefoot sensory path, the tree hollow game, the listening station, the food chain game, and finally the wetland biotope, you'll encounter all the points of interest along this trail. The circular route is divided into 20 stations, is 3.2 km long, and takes approximately 2 hours to complete.
